Glasgow Benches

Description

The Glasgow Bench is a classic teak garden bench with a bit more shape and character than the plainer styles.

An arched, supportive back

The gently domed top and fanned slats give the back a relaxed curve to lean into, while the rounded arms give you somewhere comfortable to rest. It is built to be sat in, not just looked at.

Traditional without the fuss

The shape nods to old-world garden benches without becoming over-decorated, so it settles into a patio, a lawn or a planted corner.

Sized for the space

It comes in a range of lengths, from a tidy patio seat to a longer bench for the lawn or pool area.

The Wood

Premium grade plantation teak, sourced from sustainable Indonesian plantations on Java and Sulawesi. We use only the densest part of the tree, where the natural oils run highest. That is why your piece will weather, but not perish.

Care

Teak is made for the outdoors. Leave it to age into a beautiful silver-grey, or oil it now and then to keep that warm golden glow. A simple wipe-down is usually all it needs.
