Description

The Japan Garden Bench is the quiet, comfortable one in the range, made for gardeners and anyone who likes to actually sit a while.

Shaped for comfort

The back is gently contoured rather than dead straight, so it curves with you and supports the lower back instead of pressing flat against it. The result is a bench you can settle into, not just perch on.

Calm, clean lines

Straight lines softened by those gentle curves give it a modern, understated look that suits both a tidy courtyard and a leafy garden corner.

A few sizes

It comes in a range of lengths to suit a quiet two-person nook or a longer shared seat, with arms to rest on either end.

The Wood

Premium grade plantation teak, sourced from sustainable Indonesian plantations on Java and Sulawesi. We use only the densest part of the tree, where the natural oils run highest. That is why your piece will weather, but not perish.

Care

Teak is made for the outdoors. Leave it to age into a beautiful silver-grey, or oil it now and then to keep that warm golden glow. A simple wipe-down is usually all it needs.
