Description

The Teak and Iron Chair is the characterful one, a French bistro-style armchair that mixes warm teak with elegant black ironwork.

Bistro charm

Scrolled iron arms and legs, a shaped teak back rail and slatted teak seat give it that relaxed Parisian-cafe look, with curved arms that are comfortable to rest on.

Folds away

The iron frame folds, so it is easy to bring out for guests or move undercover, indoors or out.

A little different

It is a lovely way to break up an all-teak setting with a bit of contrast and personality.

The Wood

Premium grade plantation teak, sourced from sustainable Indonesian plantations on Java and Sulawesi. We use only the densest part of the tree, where the natural oils run highest. That is why your piece will weather, but not perish.

Dense, oily heartwood with a close, even grain

Care

Teak is made for the outdoors. Leave it to age into a beautiful silver-grey, or oil it now and then to keep that warm golden glow. A simple wipe-down is usually all it needs.
