Our best seller, The IPANEMA daybed is perfect for your covered patio or pool side sunbathing. Made from solid A-Grade plantation teak, and includes Sunproof Base Cushion, Bolsters and 3 x scatter cushions.
Note: Sunproof is easy-care, stain-resistant, water repellent , and provides up to 97% UV protection. We advise that cushions must be stored inside or covered when not in use.

Care instructions :
For the first 6-12 months we recommend storing light coloured cushions separately from new teak furniture to help minimise the chance of the teak oil staining the cushion. While most of our cushions have a baytline textile on the underside any part of the textile that is in direct contact with the teak may develop a light stain from the teak oil. A Scotch guard can be applied to the textile to help reduce the staining. Once the furniture weathers to a silver-gray patina it will no longer affect the cushions.
(Please note we do not consider teak oil marks on cushions a defect where the textile has been in direct contact with the wood and it is not covered under the cushion warranty)

exchange requests must be made within 24hrs of delivery. The furniture must be returned in
the condition that it was delivered in. The purchaser will be responsible for any delivery fees
incurred for the exchange. A 5% restocking fee is applicable for any assembled tables and
garden benches.

Teak Care Guide
Teak furniture is designed to endure the elements and can remain untreated with minimal maintenance. A simple soapy wash once a year is all you need to keep it in great shape. It's normal for teak to develop fine splits and cracks over time—these are natural occurrences and not considered defects.
Preserving Teak’s Honey Hue
If you wish to preserve the beautiful honey color of your teak furniture, consider applying a UV protectant like Golden Care's "Honey Brown Protect." This will help maintain its rich appearance despite sun exposure.
Routine Cleaning
For regular upkeep, clean your teak furniture annually with warm, soapy water. This will help remove dirt, everyday stains, and moldy residue, keeping your pieces looking fresh and inviting.
Stain Prevention
To protect your furniture, especially table tops, against stains, apply Golden Care’s Clear Coat - Teak Shield. This additional layer of protection will help maintain your furniture's pristine condition.
