The Japan Dining Chair is a solid teak dining chair built for comfort across a whole meal, not just a quick sit-down.

Shaped to support your back

The tall back is gently curved with a clear lumbar shape, so the slats follow the natural curve of your spine and support your lower back rather than pressing flat against it. The seat is contoured too, which is what lets you stay at the table well past dessert.

Reassuringly solid

It has a steady, planted feel around an outdoor table and none of the wobble of lightweight seating.

Made to match

It works especially well with the rectangular teak dining tables for an easy indoor-outdoor setting.

Premium grade plantation teak, sourced from sustainable Indonesian plantations on Java and Sulawesi. We use only the densest part of the tree, where the natural oils run highest. That is why your piece will weather, but not perish.

Teak is made for the outdoors. Leave it to age into a beautiful silver-grey, or oil it now and then to keep that warm golden glow. A simple wipe-down is usually all it needs.
