Teak Reclining Chair

Description

The Teak Reclining Chair is for the slow part of the day: the morning coffee, the afternoon read, the chair you move to after lunch and stay in.

Recline to suit the moment

It adjusts through several positions, so you can sit up for a chat or lean right back to relax. The high back is gently contoured to support you, and the arms make it easy to settle in and out.

Warm timber, classic hardware

Premium grade teak with brass hardware gives it a traditional, well-made feel, and the frame folds when you want it out of the way.

Where it belongs

On a verandah, a deck or a shady garden corner where one comfortable chair quietly becomes the favourite.

The Wood

Premium grade plantation teak, sourced from sustainable Indonesian plantations on Java and Sulawesi. We use only the densest part of the tree, where the natural oils run highest. That is why your piece will weather, but not perish.

Care

Teak is made for the outdoors. Leave it to age into a beautiful silver-grey, or oil it now and then to keep that warm golden glow. A simple wipe-down is usually all it needs.
