Product information
Teak & Sunproof Strapping Side Chair
Description
The Teak and Sunproof Strapping Side Chair is the contemporary one, with a basketweave of woven outdoor strapping on a light teak frame.
Comfort with give
The woven seat and back have a gentle flex that the flat timber chairs do not, so they move with you, and the slightly angled back makes it relaxed to sit in for a long meal or a drink beside a coffee table.
Modern, coastal look
The black strapping against pale teak gives it a clean, current feel that lifts a dining or lounge setting.
Best undercover
It is happiest on a covered patio or in occasional outdoor use, and the strapping lasts longer when it is kept out of harsh weather when not in use.
The Wood
Premium grade plantation teak, sourced from sustainable Indonesian plantations on Java and Sulawesi. We use only the densest part of the tree, where the natural oils run highest. That is why your piece will weather, but not perish.

All measurements are in centimetres.

Care
Teak is made for the outdoors. Leave it to age into a beautiful silver-grey, or oil it now and then to keep that warm golden glow. A simple wipe-down is usually all it needs.
For cleaning, oiling and the odd repair, our full guide has you covered.
Shipping
Full-price orders over $2,000 ship free to our delivery zones, and we subsidise the rest. Our zones cover most metro and coastal addresses from the Mornington Peninsula through Melbourne, Geelong, Canberra and Sydney up to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Sale pieces aren't included in the free delivery offer, so an order with a sale piece is charged our standard delivery rate. Outside our zones? Place the order with Bank Deposit at checkout and we'll come back with a tailored quote before anything is charged.
