Golden Care Teak Protector Honey Brown is for customers who want teak to stay closer to its original warm honey colour instead of quickly weathering to silver grey.

Keeps the colour natural

The finish is designed to look more natural than many teak oils and sealers, which can make teak look too dark, red or orange.

Not a greasy oil

Because it is water-based and not an oil, it avoids the greasy feel that can mark clothing and helps reduce the black spots often associated with oiling teak.

Care routine

Use it as the colour-preserving step on clean teak, then follow the label directions. After applying Teak Protector, The Teak Place recommends Teak & Hardwood Shield to help protect against stains.

A-grade plantation teak, sourced from sustainable Indonesian plantations on Java and Sulawesi. We use only the densest part of the tree, where the natural oils run highest — the reason your piece will weather, but not perish.

Teak is made for the outdoors. Leave it to age into a beautiful silver-grey, or oil it now and then to keep that warm golden glow. A simple wipe-down is usually all it needs.
